Job summary

Washington State University in Pullman, WA seeks an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (tenure-track) in Isotope Geochemistry to build an internationally recognized, externally funded research program and to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Earth sciences.

The successful candidate will lead the Geochemical Laboratory, guide its growth, supervise students, and contribute to interdisciplinary opportunities focusing on critical minerals, energy resources, and sustainable energy

Qualifications

• PhD in Geology or Earth Science or adjacent disciplines.
• Demonstrated record of laboratory management and ability to oversee isotopic geochemistry facilities.
• Potential for external funding and teaching excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an externally funded research program in isotopic geochemistry and lithospheric processes.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses and supervise research projects.
• Contribute to curriculum development, graduate mentoring, recruitment, and assessment within the School of the Environment.
