Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking a Tenure Acquiring Assistant or Associate Professor for a 9-month appointment at Texas Tech University.

The candidate will teach undergraduate Interior Design and graduate Environmental Design courses, engage in research, and contribute to service/mentorship within a growing, interdisciplinary design village collaboration. Minimum qualifications include a terminal degree (PhD or MFA) in interior design or related field, with teaching experience

Qualifications

• Terminal degree (PhD or MFA) by appointment time in Interior Design or related field.
• At least one degree should be in interior design or architecture.
• Experience teaching interior design in higher education and contributing to program development.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in the Interior Design Program (Bachelor of Interior Design) and graduate courses in Environmental Design (MS) and Interior and Environmental Design (PhD) programs.
• Engage in research, scholarly activity, and service to the department and university.
• Provide mentorship and contribute to curriculum development and interdisciplinary collaboration.
