Qualifications

All applicants should have earned a terminal degree (Ph.D., MFA) by appointment time, in Interior Design or a related field. At least one degree should be in interior design or architecture.
Preferred qualifications include teaching experience at the higher education level, an active record of scholarship, and the ability to obtain extramural funding.
Professional practice experience in interior design or architecture, NCIDQ eligibility or certification, and proficiency with industry-standard software.

Responsibilities

Engage in teaching, research/creative activity, and service.
Prepare and mentor students, develop curriculum, and contribute to program growth.
Collaborate across disciplines within Design Village and allied colleges to enhance learning.
