Job summary

The University of Minnesota-Twin Cities invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in computational approaches to perception and/or cognition within the Cognitive and Brain Sciences (CAB) Training Program. The appointment begins Fall 2027 and includes 100% time during the academic year.

Qualifications

• PhD in Psychology or related field with computational expertise in perception/cognition.
• Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in this area.
• Ability to mentor students from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active, productive research program.
• Advise graduate students from diverse backgrounds.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology, including core courses of the CAB Training Program.
• Contribute to the service needs of the department, college, university, and profession.
