The Department of Psychology at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in computation for perception and/or cognition. The appointment is 100% time during the nine-month year, starting Fall 2027, with potential cross-affiliation within CAB and other areas.

Qualifications

• PhD in Psychology or related field with computational research in perception/cognition.
• Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in this area.
• Ability to mentor students from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active research program in computation and perception or cognition.
• Advise graduate students and teach core and elective courses in CAB.
• Contribute to departmental service and start-up activities as appropriate.
