Rutgers University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Immunology within the DLS Cell Biology & Neuroscience department on the Rutgers-New Brunswick campus. The successful candidate will develop an innovative immunology research program using animal or cellular models and may relate to human diseases.

The department emphasizes collaboration within SAS, RWJ Medical School, and partner campuses. Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Immunology, Biology or a related field, M.D., or equivalent degree.
• Three years of postdoctoral training in a relevant field is expected.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor students and postdoctoral researchers; teach undergrad courses.

Responsibilities

• Develop an innovative, extramurally funded research program in Immunology.
• Teach undergraduate lecture and/or laboratory courses focused on Immunology.
• Mentor students and pre/postdoctoral trainees; contribute to teaching and service.
