Job summary

The University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science Division, invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track Assistant Professor. The faculty member will build an independent, externally funded research program, supervise graduate students, and teach courses in professional and graduate programs within the School of Pharmacy.

Candidates will contribute to the Pharmaceutical Sciences graduate program through mentorship, teaching, and collaborative scholarship.

Qualifications

• Establish an independent, externally funded research program.
• Supervise graduate students and teach professional and graduate courses in pharmacy programs.
• Contribute to graduate programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology and Toxicology BS.
• Engage in university and community service as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Teach Drug Delivery Systems for Pharmacotherapy and related graduate courses.
• Mentor graduate students and contribute to collaborative scholarship.
• Lead a high-quality research program and pursue external funding.
