Texas Tech University’s Department of Geosciences invites applications for a full-time, 9-month tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin 1 September 2027. Qualifications

• Ph.D. by start of appointment in Geography, Environmental Sciences, Earth Science or related field.
• A record of publications and presentations in their field, including conference presentations, abstracts and peer-reviewed articles.
• Evidence of potential to build and sustain an externally funded research program through proposals or collaborations.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the department's teaching mission.
