Job summary

Smith College is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences, beginning July 1, 2027, to develop innovative courses and an independent research program in Genetics, Evolution, and Molecular Biology. The candidate will involve undergraduates in research combining molecular biology with experimental, field, and/or computational approaches.

A PhD by appointment is essential; postdoctoral experience and publications are preferred.
