Job summary

University of Central Florida invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-earning Assistant Professor in Forensic Toxicology in a joint position between the Department of Chemistry and NCFS. The role begins August 2027, with expectations to establish externally funded research and contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in chemistry or related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated track record of research productivity in forensic science.
• Preferred: at least one year of post-doctoral research experience.
• Preferred: presentations/publications in Human Forensic Toxicology.

Responsibilities

• Develop externally funded, nationally competitive research programs.
• Contribute to teaching in both undergraduate and graduate programs.
• Collaborate with the NCFS and Chemistry Department in a joint appointment.
