Loyola University Maryland invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor in Forensic Science starting August 2027. Ideal candidates will have MS in forensic science (required) and PhD (preferred), with an emphasis on pattern evidence and opportunities to develop new courses and collaborate

Qualifications

• MS in forensic science or related discipline is required.
• PhD in forensic science or related discipline and prior teaching experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach 2 upper-level undergraduate/graduate courses per year in pattern evidence (e.g., Criminalistics, Pattern Evidence, Crime Scene Investigation).
• Develop and teach new courses; integrate advanced technologies in the Forensic Science Technology Center.
• Contribute to introductory courses and capstone experiences; mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
