Qualifications

• PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent doctoral degree from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated expertise in focused ultrasound, neuroscience, bioengineering, biomedical engineering, molecular biosciences, or a related discipline.
• Strong record of research productivity and scholarly achievement.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will establish an independent research program and join a collaborative environment focused on developing innovative therapies and technologies for neurological disease.
• Opportunities exist for collaboration across the Department of Neurosurgery, the Center for Translational Engineering in Medicine (CTEM), the University of Maryland Institute for Neuroengineering and Data Science (UM-MIND), and other interdisciplinary research programs.
