Weber State University invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of Finance beginning Fall 2027. The School of Accounting, Finance, & Taxation emphasizes undergraduate education and scholarly research. Teaching load is 3-3 with possible face-to-face, hybrid, or online delivery.

Required is a Ph.D. in finance (AACSB preferred) or ABD with completion plan by July 2027; industry engagement and a record of teaching effectiveness are valued.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in finance required; AACSB preferred.
• ABD candidates with a clear plan for completion by July 2027 will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and possibly graduate finance courses with a 3-3 load.
• Engage in scholarly research, service to the university, and collegial collaboration.
