Job summary

Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management's Accounting Group in Cambridge is seeking one tenure-track faculty at the junior level, effective July 1, 2027 or as soon thereafter as possible. Outstanding senior level applicants will also be considered.

Responsibilities include conducting original scholarly research in accounting or related topics, and teaching introductory accounting as well as more specialized courses at the graduate and undergraduate level.

We stress high research potential or achievement; faculty responsibilities include conducting original scholarly research in accounting or related topics, teaching introductory accounting as well as more specialized courses at the graduate and undergraduate level. Applicants must possess a PhD in Accounting or a related field by the start of employment. Applications must include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and three letters of recommendation. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis; the submission deadline is November 15, 2026.
