Job summary

Hamilton College’s Biology Department invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Evolutionary Ecology, beginning July 1, 2027. The successful candidate will teach five course credits per year, including a lab-heavy upper-level course and supervision of senior theses, with ongoing undergraduate research in a vibrant liberal arts setting.

Candidates should demonstrate experience with diverse student populations and contribute to Environmental Studies.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biology or related field by start date.
• Experience teaching and advising undergraduate students.
• Ability to develop an undergraduate research program and supervise senior theses.

Responsibilities
