El Paso Community College seeks an English instructor to provide on-campus instruction in alignment with the college's philosophy and objectives. The successful candidate will develop curricula, advise students, and actively participate in departmental activities.

Tenure-track opportunities may be available, with responsibilities including syllabus adherence, office hours, and service on committees. Applicants must hold a Master's in English or 18 graduate hours in English, and provide

Master's in English or 18 graduate hours in English.
Transcript reflecting the required education must be submitted.
Candidate must be fully qualified at time of application.
Experience teaching in the English discipline.
Experience teaching at the community college level.
Experience/ability to incorporate technology into the classroom.

Responsabilités

In-person instruction on campus adhering to college philosophy and objectives.
Adhere to approved syllabi and provide course information by end of first week of classes.
Develop and revise curriculum and instructional materials; submit syllabi by first week.
Post and maintain office hours; serve as academic advisor and provide leadership in student activities.
Participate in division/department activities and committees; collaborate with faculty to meet discipline goals.
Assist in faculty evaluation, governance, and professional development activities.
Support the college mission to serve the community and perform other duties as assigned.
