Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English or related field and at least some college teaching experience.
• Master’s degree preferred for higher level ENG courses listed (1021, 1022, etc.).
• Experience with diverse learners and non-traditional students is desirable.
• Ability to design and assess curriculum and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in college-level English including English Composition and Developmental Education courses.
• Apply learning-centered practices and use assessment data to improve instruction.
• Use computer-based technologies and alternative teaching methodologies to enhance learning.
• Collaborate on program review, curriculum development, and departmental assessments.
