Job summary

Gonzaga University’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning Fall 2027. Qualifications

• Ph.D. by July 15, 2027 in EE/CE or closely related field.
• Evidence of teaching effectiveness or promise of excellence.
• Strength in digital systems, hardware design, embedded systems or VLSI.
• Active scholarly agenda and ability to mentor undergraduates.
• Commitment to Gonzaga’s Jesuit mission and inclusive teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach 18 credit hours per academic year, including core and specialized courses.
• Establish and sustain a scholarly program involving undergraduates.
• Provide academic and career advising to undergraduates.
• Contribute to service and academic citizenship within the department and university.
