Wichita State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Cybersecurity within the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, develop and sustain an externally visible research program, mentor students, and provide service to the department, college, and university.

Priority areas include network defense, cloud security, secure software, digital forensics, and AI security.

Formación

• Terminal degree in cybersecurity, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or closely related field.
• Experience teaching cybersecurity at undergraduate/graduate level.
• Strong potential for productive research and scholarly activity.

Responsabilidades

• Developing and teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in cybersecurity and related areas.
• Establishing and maintaining a high-quality cybersecurity research program.
• Contributing to service activities within the department, college, and university.
• Mentoring students and supervising research projects.
