Eastern Connecticut State University invites applications for the tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Computer Science. Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related field, completed before August 2027.
• Demonstrated excellence or strong potential to teach Java programming and upper-level courses in Software Engineering, Computer Architecture, Computer Algorithms, Design and Implementation of Programming Languages, or Operating Systems.
• Ability to teach core courses as well as develop specialized electives.

Responsabilités

• Teach undergraduate computer science courses at all levels; workload equals 12 credit hours per semester.
• Contribute to curriculum development, engage in research, mentor undergraduate student research, advise students, and provide service to the department.
• Engage in service to the department, university, and community.
