Job summary

The City College of New York (CCNY) invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor in computational neuroscience to begin in Fall 2027. The department seeks candidates with strong work in cognitive and/or affective neuroscience and expertise in neurophysiological recording and computational analysis, including machine learning.

Qualifications

• A Ph.D. in psychology, neuroscience, applied mathematics, computer science, engineering, or allied field.
• Ability to teach successfully and cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
• Strong scholarly achievement and publication record.
• Experience mentoring neuroscience students (preferred).
• Active program of research with potential for external grant support (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels and mentoring students.
• Maintain an active research program and publish in top-tier journals.
• Engage in departmental service and scholarly collaboration across CCNY and partners.
