Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or closely-related field required.
• Teaching experience at the college level preferred.
• Ability to teach undergraduate majors and non-majors from diverse backgrounds and lead a research program with undergraduates.

Responsibilities

• Teach the equivalent of a six-course load per year, including introductory chemistry or upper-division courses.
• Contribute to innovation in undergraduate chemistry education.
• Lead and supervise student research projects.
• Engage in student advising and mentoring, and university service.
• Collaboratively support departmental goals in recruiting, curricular reform, assessment, and community building.
