Job summary

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in a relevant field (PhD or MD).
• Minimum of three years teaching experience at undergraduate, graduate or medical student level.

Responsibilities

• Deliver basic medical science content in didactic and laboratory sessions (histology & cell biology or microbiology).
• Ensure content is horizontally and vertically integrated across courses.
• Collaborate with clinical faculty to emphasize content relevant to professional practice.
• Serve on department, College of Medicine and University committees and contribute to service.
• Conduct original research and publish in biomedical and/or educational subjects.
• Apply for extramural funding and review proposals.
• Enhance scholarly infrastructure through collaboration with faculty, staff and students.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
