Job summary

Cincinnati State is seeking a full-time, tenure-track Instructor in Aviation Maintenance Technology to teach at our West Campus in Harrison, OH and at the CVG Airport Exchange location in Hebron, KY. The role requires FAA certification in Airframe and Powerplant, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities include syllabus creation, delivering learning-centered instruction, and maintaining student records.

Qualifications

• FAA certification required in airframe and powerplant.
• Bachelor’s degree in Aircraft Maintenance or related field required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Aviation Maintenance Technology courses in accordance with Cincinnati State policies and regulatory requirements.
• Create syllabi, course materials, and assignments aligned with learning outcomes.
• Deliver engaging classroom instruction at the West Campus (Harrison, OH) and/or CVG Airport Exchange location (Hebron, KY).
• Maintain student progress records and administer examinations to assess learning objectives.
