Middle Georgia State University (MGA) seeks a Lecturer/Assistant Professor of Aviation & Air Traffic Control Specialist to teach undergraduate ATC courses, supervise tower operations, and support student development on MGA Eastman Campus. The role includes classroom instruction, simulation training, and program oversight.

The successful candidate will hold an FAA Control Tower Operator Certificate, have extensive ATC experience, and possess a Master’s degree in Aviation or related field.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required with extensive ATC experience.
• FAA Control Tower Operator Certificate is required.
• Current FAA Class II medical certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate aviation courses (ATC) and supervise training.
• Advise and mentor aviation students on academic and career goals.
• Develop syllabi, lesson plans, tests, and lab projects.
• Oversee ATC tower operations and ensure safe training environments.
• Maintain compliance with FAA and university policies.
• Participate in scholarly activity and service.
