Montclair State University’s Department of Kinesiology invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Athletic Training, beginning August 27, 2027. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate and graduate programs, collaborate across departments, and engage in classroom, laboratory, and clinical education experiences.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate or appropriate terminal degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Rehabilitation Sciences, Health Sciences, or a closely related field.
• Board of Certification (BOC) credential in good standing as a Certified Athletic Trainer.
• Eligibility for licensure as an Athletic Trainer in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Athletic Training and Kinesiology.
• Engage in research, scholarship, and creative activity with active agenda.
• Contribute to accreditation, program assessment, and service activities at multiple levels.
