The College of Nursing at this university is seeking an Assistant Professor on a tenure-track basis, with an emphasis on palliative care research. The position involves collaboration across campus and with external partners to advance clinical science and evidence-informed practice.

The successful candidate will build an innovative research program, contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching, mentor students, and participate in service activities to advance nursing education and health

Qualifications

• PhD degree in nursing or related field at time of appointment.
• Master’s degree in nursing.
• CV demonstrating research, scholarship, and teaching effectiveness.
• Strong interpersonal and writing skills.
• Clinical expertise in palliative care.
• Eligible for RN or APRN licensure in Rhode Island.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsabilités

• Establish and maintain a robust research program in palliative care.
• Maintain scholarly activity through peer‑reviewed publications and presentations.
