Wellesley College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in Comparative Politics, with a focus on China and/or East Asia. The hire will teach our introductory comparative politics course and a methods course, contributing to a vibrant liberal arts education on a historic campus. The ideal candidate will engage undergraduates in research, participate in curriculum development, and commit to inclusive teaching.

Ph.D. is required by appointment; ABD considered.

Qualifications

• PhD in Political Science by time of appointment.
• ABD considered; must complete by start date.
• Commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education.

Responsabilités

• Teach introductory comparative politics and methods courses.
• Develop and teach courses in quantitative or qualitative methods.
• Advise and support undergraduate students in research.
