Qualifications

Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics (or closely related field) from an accredited institution. ABDs may be considered, but a conferred doctorate by August 31, 2027 is required for appointment.
Evidence of excellence or promise of excellence in teaching.
Evidence of excellence or promise of excellence in research/scholarship.
At least 18 credit hours or more of graduate level coursework in linguistics or closely related field.

Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses across linguistics, TESOL and related programs.
Mentor and supervise graduate students.
Conduct research and publish in relevant areas.
Engage in service responsibilities within the department and university.
