Job summary

ACJS is seeking a scholar to contribute to the department’s research mission and doctoral program in criminology and criminal justice. The area of specialization is open, welcoming work across the breadth of the field using diverse theories, methods, and interdisciplinary approaches.

The candidate should show research productivity and potential for an externally funded program, with evidence of effective university teaching, in person or online. Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Criminology, Criminal Justice, or a closely related social science discipline must be completed before appointment. J.D. is not acceptable.
• Evidence of a publication record.
• ABD will be considered, but the degree must be conferred prior to appointment.

interdisciplinary approaches. The successful candidate should demonstrate

or online, is preferred.
