The Department of Large Animal Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Tennessee, is seeking applications for a tenure-track position in equine sports medicine and rehabilitation at the assistant, associate, or full professor rank. Responsibilities include clinic service, didactic and clinical teaching, research or scholarly activities, outreach, and governance. The hospital offers advanced facilities including arthroscopy, laparoscopy, lasers, nuclear imaging, DR, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy c-arm, video endoscopy, thermography, ultrasonography, and specialized equine facilities such as lameness diagnostics, indoor arena, and rehabilitation center with underwater treadmill, vibration platform, podiatry center, and therapeutic lasers.
Applications are desired by February 15th, 2025, but will be considered until the position is filled. Requirements include a DVM/VMD degree or equivalent and ACVSMR board certification. Candidates eligible for the ACVSMR certification exam or with ECVSMR certification may also be considered.
