The Department of English at the University of Florida invites applications for a full-time, nine-month tenure-track Assistant Professor in Anglophone Poetry Studies, starting August 16, 2027. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses and maintain an active publication record.

We seek scholars with a broad, cross-period and cross-national approach to Anglophone poetry and a demonstrated commitment to mentorship and service within the university community.

Formación

• PhD required with a record of research/publication and teaching in Anglophone poetry across American, British, or global contexts.
• Experience teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels preferred.
• Active research agenda and publication record are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Teach four courses per academic year at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Mentor and advise undergraduate and graduate students.
• Engage in scholarly activity and contribute service to the Department, College, and profession.
