The College of Education at the University of Florida invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in AI-based Quantitative Research Methods in Education in Gainesville. The successful candidate will develop and sustain a clear line of methodology-focused research, pursue external funding, and advise graduate students.

Qualifications

• Doctorate required; ABD considered if degree conferred prior to Aug 15, 2027.
• Record of scholarship demonstrated through publications and presentations at national conferences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scholarly activities commensurate with tenure-track expectations.
• Build a collaborative and diverse community of scholars within UF's AI research community.
• Vigorously pursue external funding opportunities with the Office of Educational Research support.
• Publish in top-tier refereed methodological journals or proceedings.
• Advise, mentor, and supervise graduate students on research activities and theses/dissertations.
• Design and teach advanced methodological courses for graduate and undergraduate students.
• Provide service to the university and the profession.
