Job summary

The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Accounting in the Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems. All courses taught in person on the main campus in Columbus, Ohio.

Candidates should demonstrate potential for high-impact scholarly productivity, quality teaching, and service to the department and university. Ideal candidates will have a Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Accounting (or closely related field with a clear accounting focus) on or after January 1, 2025 or expect to complete their Ph.D. in the near future.
• The potential for outstanding achievement in research and teaching in accounting.
• An emerging high-quality research pipeline.
• The potential to collaborate with colleagues through research and service.
• The ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and independently.
• Successful teaching experience at the university level.
