We seek candidates who excel at teaching state-of-the-art accounting and who will contribute high-quality research in a collegial, mountainous environment.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, advise students, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and participate in service.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or D.B.A. in accounting or closely related field by start date.
• Potential to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting.
• Potential to carry on a successful program of scholarly research resulting in publication in quality peer-reviewed journals.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective, high-quality instruction in multiple accounting courses at the bachelor’s and master’s levels with a typical teaching load of 15 credit hours per year.
• Advise students and conduct scholarly research.
• Engage in college and university service and contribute to the college’s mission.
