Job summary

Ohio Wesleyan University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in Accounting and Finance beginning August 2027. The successful candidate will teach six courses annually across accounting and finance, engage undergraduates in campus programs, and contribute to curriculum development.

Qualifications

• Masters of Accountancy, MBA, or doctorate in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Professional experience in accounting and/or finance.
• Evidence of preparation for teaching at the undergraduate level.

Responsibilities

• Teach six courses annually (3/3) in accounting and finance at introductory, intermediate and advanced levels.
• Collaborate with colleagues to advance a shared vision for student outcomes and program growth.
• Advise students and participate in curriculum development, revision, and assessment.
• Engage in ongoing research and scholarship, with opportunities for pre-tenure leave and professional development.
