Job summary

Oklahoma Baptist University invites applications for the tenure-track position of Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting in the Paul Dickinson School of Business, teaching undergraduate and possibly graduate accounting courses. Development in finance or data analytics is encouraged.

The role includes academic advising and supporting recruitment and retention efforts. The department seeks candidates with strong pedagogy, commitment to scholarly activity, and willingness to teach online

Qualifications

• Ph.D. preferred or master's degree with CPA required.
• Ability to teach both undergraduate and graduate accounting courses.
• Experience teaching at university level preferred; industry experience a plus.
• Must be a member of a local evangelical Christian church.
• Willingness to teach online courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach accounting courses at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Advise students as assigned.
• Collaborate with Chair, Dean, and Admissions in recruitment and retention activities.
