Louisiana State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of British literature and culture of the Long 18th Century, beginning August 2027. The position is located in Baton Rouge, with teaching duties across undergraduate and graduate courses and active involvement in interdisciplinary programs.

• Ph.D. in British literature and culture by Aug 2027.
• Record of publication or strong promise of future scholarly achievement.
• Ability to teach across Long 18th Century and direct undergraduate/graduate research.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate British literature courses in 3020/3022 rotations.
• Advise graduate dissertations and supervise undergraduate research.
• Develop new courses and participate in interdisciplinary programs.
