Concordia College in Moorhead, MN invites applications for a full-time tenure-eligible Social Work Faculty member to join the graduate and baccalaureate programs. A MSW is required; doctoral degree or progress is preferred.

The appointment begins August 2027 and includes teaching across graduate and undergraduate curricula, advising, service, and scholarly activity. Candidates who can teach across the curriculum, with emphasis on addiction, sports and performance, or aging services, are

Qualifications

• MSW degree from an accredited social work program required.
• Two years post-MSW professional social work experience.
• Eligible for social work licensure in Minnesota.
• Ability to effectively teach generalist and clinical practice across the BSW and MSW programs.
• DSW or Doctoral degree in related field (or in progress).
• Five years post-MSW professional social work experience.
• Specialized experience in addiction, sports and performance and/or aging related services.
• Clinical Social Work License with clinical practice experience and effectiveness.
• College level teaching experience with evidence of teaching effectiveness.

Responsabilités

• Teach in both graduate and undergraduate programs.
• Advise students and engage in service to the college and community.
• Engage in scholarly activities that promote professional growth and development.
• Teach social work courses across the social work curriculum.
• Candidates whose teaching, research, or professional practice focus on addiction, sports and performance, or aging services are preferred.
