The Tennis Central Corp Strength & Performance Coach will lead the physical development within our high‑performance academy, tailoring tennis‑specific conditioning to each player’s stage and goals. You will work closely with tennis coaches to align training with on‑court demands, prioritizing speed, agility, endurance and durability while reducing injury risk and promoting recovery.
Applicants should hold CSCS or an equivalent credential, CPR/First Aid, and have a track record of producing
Develop the athlete. Build the competitor. Prepare the body for the demands of the game.
to become an integral part of our high-performance academy environment.
We are looking for more than a traditional strength coach. We want a performance professional who understands that developing a tennis athlete requires a unique combination of speed, strength, explosiveness, movement quality, endurance, coordination, durability and recovery—all built around the demands of the tennis court.
The right candidate will bring proven expertise and an established record of helping athletes improve. Just as importantly, they will embrace our academy philosophy and work collaboratively with our tennis coaching team to build stronger, faster, more resilient competitors.
The Strength & Performance Coach will lead the physical-development component of our academy and integrate seamlessly into the players' overall training pathway.
Rather than bringing a fixed program and asking our athletes to fit into it, this coach will adapt and build their curriculum around the needs of our academy, our coaching methodology, and the developmental stage of each athlete.
Responsibilities will include:
We are seeking someone who has already demonstrated excellence, not simply someone interested in entering the field.
This is an academy-based position and therefore requires availability when our athletes train.
Candidates must be prepared to work after-school hours during the week and on weekends, with additional opportunities during school breaks, camps and intensive training periods.
Our objective is not simply to produce stronger tennis players.
It is to develop complete athletes capable of handling the physical and competitive demands of increasingly serious tennis.
We believe the best performance coach becomes part of the player's development team—working alongside the tennis coaches, understanding what is happening on court, identifying what is limiting the athlete physically, and building the body required for the player's game to evolve.
For the right person, this is an opportunity to build and lead the physical-performance culture within an ambitious tennis academy and have a meaningful impact on athletes during some of the most important years of their development.
We are looking for someone who can help our athletes move better, become stronger, compete longer—and ultimately discover a higher ceiling for themselves.
