Job summary

Daniel Island Golf Club in Charleston, SC is seeking a friendly Tennis Shop Attendant to manage retail transactions and assist members. You will handle POS, reservations, and inquiries, while maintaining displays and helping with events and court upkeep.

This role requires energy, teamwork, and reliable movement; tennis knowledge is a plus but not required. Flexible availability and a customer-service mindset are valued, and you’ll join a welcoming club where attention to detail and WOW service

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is required; tennis knowledge is a plus but not a requirement
• Possess a passion for exceeding expectations and delivering ‘WOW service’
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to teamwork and collaborating with others
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Able to regularly required to stand, walk, talk or hear
• Able to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

Responsibilities

• Handles point of sale transactions
• Monitors and makes court reservations
• Answers all incoming calls and member inquiries
• Responsible for upkeeping floor displays, shop setup and cleanliness
• Helps organize and assist with tennis events and tournaments
• Performs court maintenance such as, but not limited to: filling water coolers, brushing/lining courts, stocking cups and towels
