Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Tennis Receptionist to support the Tennis Coordinator and Manager by scheduling court time, guiding members through programs, lessons, and equipment, and delivering outstanding service.

You will assist with Life Shop sales, maintain clean facilities, handle daily billing, build personalized member relationships, and help promote all Life Time offerings.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience.
• CPR and AED certified within the first 30 days.
• Ability to sit, stand, reach, walk, climb and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, schedule lessons and court time with a friendly and professional manner.
• Explain Tennis programs, services and equipment to members and assess their needs.
• Initiate and maintain personalized relationships with members.
• Ensure tennis facilities and equipment are clean, organized and in good working condition.
• Promote Life Time programs, products and services.
• Ensure daily billing is accurate and reconcile cash at end of shift.
• Keep Life Shop neat, orderly and well-stocked.

Position Summary

The Tennis Receptionist assists the Tennis Coordinator and Tennis Manager in maintaining the day-to-day operations of the Tennis Department. They schedule court time and educate members on tennis programs, lessons, and equipment. They assist with Life Shop sales and promotion (where applicable) while providing exceptional customer service to encourage repeat business.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets, schedules lessons and court time and assists members in a friendly and professional manner
• Explains all Tennis programs, services, and equipment to members and assists them with determining their individual needs
• Initiates, develops and maintains personalized relationships with members
• Assists in ensuring all tennis facilities and equipment are clean, organized and in good working condition
• Promotes all Life Time programs, products, and services
• Ensures all daily billing is completed accurately and efficiently and reconciles the cash register at the end of a shift
• Ensures the Life Shop is neat, orderly, and well-stocked

Position Requirements

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of customer service experience
• CPR and AED Certified within the first 30 days of hire
• Ability to sit, stand, reach, walk, climb and lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Requirements

• Computer experience
