Job summary

Genesis Health Clubs in Lexington, KY is seeking a Junior Growth Expert – Tennis to create and deliver a high-energy junior tennis environment at our 22-court facility (15 indoor, 5 outdoor clay, 2 outdoor hard). You will lead 10 & Under and recreational programs, develop players, and promote engaging youth tennis experiences.

The role emphasizes private/group lessons, program design, and pathways for long-term engagement, with a commitment to world-class service and a dynamic club culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of junior teaching experience.
• Experience with competitive junior players.
• USPTA and/or PTR certification preferred.
• College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth of 10 & Under and recreational junior tennis.
• Create pathways for long-term player engagement.
• Deliver private and group lessons.
• Maintain ~35 on-court teaching hours per week.
• Develop players technically, tactically, athletically, and mentally.
• Train and mentor assistant professionals.
• Drive growth, retention, and programming excellence.

Position Overview

Genesis Health Clubs is a leading tennis organization in the United States. The Junior Growth Expert will create, develop, promote, and deliver a high‑energy, engaging, and success‑driven junior tennis environment at our historic Lexington facility, which features 22 courts (15 indoor, 5 outdoor clay, 2 outdoor hard).

The role focuses primarily on 10 & Under Tennis, Recreational Junior Tennis, Beginner‑to‑Intermediate Junior Development, Family & Youth Tennis Engagement, and creating lifelong tennis players.

Responsibilities

• Junior Growth Leadership
  • Ambassador and advocate for Junior Tennis
  • Lead growth of 10 & Under and recreational junior tennis
  • Create pathways for long‑term player engagement

  • Design high‑energy, engaging youth tennis programming
  • Promote programs through outreach and engagement

Desired Education / Experience / Qualifications

• College degree preferred
• 2+ years of junior teaching experience
• Experience with competitive junior players
• High‑level playing background preferred; college playing experience strongly preferred
• USPTA and/or PTR Certification preferred; Performance Certification preferred
• Minimum playing level 4.5+
