Job summary

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, AZ seeks a Tennis & Pickleball Professional to elevate guest experiences through expert instruction and personalized service in a luxury setting. Lead clinics, private lessons, and tournaments while maintaining courts and equipment to the highest standards.

You'll collaborate with Recreation, Spa, and Marketing teams to create engaging programs, staying current on tennis trends and guest needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years teaching tennis in a resort, club or hospitality setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with diverse age groups and skill levels.
• Scheduling software and basic computer applications.
• Knowledge of tennis equipment and court maintenance.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group tennis lessons for guests of all ages and skill levels.
• Organize and lead clinics, social mixers, and tournaments.
• Offer personalized coaching and feedback to enhance guest performance and enjoyment.
• Promote programs and encourage guest participation through engaging communication.
• Ensure courts are maintained to the highest standards, including cleanliness, safety, and readiness.
• Manage inventory of equipment and supplies, ensuring availability and proper condition.
• Coordinate court reservations and scheduling to optimize guest access and experience.
• Develop seasonal programming aligned with guest interests and resort events.
• Collaborate with Recreation, Spa, and Marketing teams to promote tennis offerings.
• Stay current on tennis trends and incorporate innovative techniques and formats.

You'll be the face of our tennis program, inspiring guests of all ages and skill levels to enjoy the sport in a welcoming and luxurious resort setting. In this role, you'll design and lead dynamic clinics, private lessons, and tournaments, while maintaining our courts to the highest standards. You'll collaborate with the Recreation & Wellness team to create memorable experiences that reflect the Loews commitment to excellence and hospitality.

Other Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety, legal, and operational standards.
• Regularly lift 45 pounds, reach, bend, crouch, kneel, push, pull, and walk.
• Stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
• Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications Include
