Job summary

TGA Premier Sports in New Jersey is seeking coaches to teach tennis and pickleball to kids ages 5-14 at schools and community sites, with a focus on fun, safety, and character.

Coaches can work 1 to 6 days per week for 2-5 hours per day during the school year, and 6+ hours in summer; lead and assistant roles available; training provided.

Ideal candidates are 16+, energetic, reliable drivers, able to communicate with kids and parents, and committed to a season-long schedule.

Qualifications

• Coaches must be at least 16 years old.
• No extensive coaching experience required; training provided.
• Commit to after-school sessions and seasonal schedules.
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive up to 10 miles to locations.
• Energetic, kid-friendly, and creative in teaching sports.

Responsibilities

• Teach tennis and/or pickleball to kids aged 5–14 at schools or community sites.
• Lead and assist coaching sessions; follow TGA curriculum.
• Maintain safety and fun; communicate with kids and parents.
• Support seasonal scheduling and attend after-school hours (2:30pm or later).

Job description

TGA of North Central NJ is one of the fastest growing TGA franchises and we NEED COACHES! This posting is specifically for individuals who would love to teach the game of TENNIS and/Or PICKLEBALL to KIDS.

We are looking for responsible individuals who are passionate about teaching kids. TGA uses youth sports as the vehicle to teach kids ages 5-14 a skill, while incorporating education, character development, and proper etiquette. We do it in the comfort of their own school or community. We do all this while making FUN and SAFETY our two top priorities.

Coaches can work 1 day per week all the way to 6 days per week, getting 2-5 hours per day during the school year and up to 6+ hours during the summer.

We are looking for both lead and assistant coaches. Coaches must be at least 16 years of age. We train all staff on the TGA curriculum, so extensive coaching experience is not required.

We have programs year round and work with coaches' flexible schedules. We have programs all over Northern NJ, and will do our best to schedule you close by where you would be driving from. We will compensate for travel if we ask you to drive more then 10 miles to a location.

We are looking to hire 3-5 coaches for the FALL SEASON, so please pass this along to friends and family who may be interested in a part time position.
