Job summary

TGA of North Central NJ is seeking coaches to teach tennis and/or pickleball to kids aged 5–14, at schools or community sites across Northern NJ. We value safety and FUN, and will provide training on the TGA curriculum.

Flexible scheduling supports after-school and summer programs, with travel stipends for longer commutes. Positions include lead and assistant roles for the FALL SEASON, requiring reliable transportation and a passion for working with kids.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Staff will be trained on the TGA curriculum.
• Coaches should be passionate about teaching kids.
• Adaptable and reliable under a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Teach tennis and/or pickleball to kids ages 5–14.
• Coaches can work 1–6 days per week with 2–5 hours/day (school year) or 6+ hours (summer).
• Lead and assistant coaching roles with safety and fun as priorities.
• Complete a background check and communicate well with kids and parents.

Job description

TGA of North Central NJ is one of the fastest growing TGA franchises and we NEED COACHES! This posting is specifically for individuals who would love to teach the game of TENNIS and/Or PICKLEBALL to KIDS.

We are looking for responsible individuals who are passionate about teaching kids. TGA uses youth sports as the vehicle to teach kids ages 5-14 a skill, while incorporating education, character development, and proper etiquette. We do it in the comfort of their own school or community. We do all this while making FUN and SAFETY our two top priorities.

Coaches can work 1 day per week all the way to 6 days per week, getting 2-5 hours per day during the school year and up to 6+ hours during the summer.

We are looking for both lead and assistant coaches. Coaches must be at least 16 years of age. We train all staff on the TGA curriculum, so extensive coaching experience is not required.

We have programs year round and work with coaches' flexible schedules. We have programs all over Northern NJ, and will do our best to schedule you close by where you would be driving from. We will compensate for travel if we ask you to drive more then 10 miles to a location.

We are looking to hire 3-5 coaches for the FALL SEASON, so please pass this along to friends and family who may be interested in a part time position.
