Job summary

Park City Recreation Department is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Tennis Instructors. Tennis experience is mandatory, but no certification is required.

Pay is determined by level of experience and certification with possible positions of Tennis Instructor I, II, III, and Senior Tennis Instructor. This part-time role supports youth clinics Mon-Thu 3:00pm-6:00pm, Evening Adult Clinics 6:00pm-7:00pm, and Saturday mornings 8:30am-12:00pm.

Qualifications

• Tennis experience is mandatory.
• Must be at least 14 years old.

Responsibilities

• Leads and organizes tennis programs to youth and adults with various skill levels.
• Teaches all types of tennis programming from clinics to private lessons.
• Reports maintenance issues of the tennis facility to the Tennis Professionals to keep the tennis facility in good working order and to provide a safe environment for staff and patrons.
• Attends appropriate or required department-wide training opportunities.
• Provides exceptional customer service to the clients (and parents when applicable).
• Responds to public inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and run.

• The noise level in the work environment may be low to moderate.
