Job summary

Play Academy is seeking an energetic Tennis Instructor to lead group and private tennis lessons for participants of all ages and skill levels.

Qualifications

• Certification from an accredited organization such as USPTA or PTR is required.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain).
• Prior experience teaching tennis lessons preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured tennis lessons and private sessions.
• Provide clear instruction, demonstrations, and cues for safe technique.
• Create a positive, inclusive class atmosphere and modify drills for all ages and abilities.
• Ensure participant safety and proper use of equipment and courts; arrive early for court prep and stay post-lesson for cleanup.
• Track attendance and progress; communicate updates to participants and management.
• Represent Play Academy in a professional and positive manner.
