Genesis Health Clubs – Pelican Athletic Club in Mandeville (New Orleans, LA) seeks a high-level Tennis Director to lead our racquets program seven days a week, driving growth in programming, lessons, leagues, and events. This is a growth leadership role, not a maintenance position, with a focus on revenue, court utilization, and staff development.

You will hire and coach 10+ professionals, lead marketing efforts, manage budgets, and create a culture of excellence for members and staff.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of leadership experience in tennis or racquets management.
• USPTA and/or PTR certification.
• Pickleball certification preferred.
• Demonstrated success in measurable business growth.
• Strong operational and financial understanding.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital marketing tools.
• College degree preferred.

Tennis Director – Growth Leader

Genesis Health Clubs, recognized as one of the top six tennis companies in the United States, is seeking a high-level Tennis Director to lead our Genesis Health Clubs- Pelican Athletic Club location in Mandeville (New Orleans- LA). This premier facility includes 4 Outdoor Clay courts, 10 outdoor hard courts, and 3 outdoor pickleball courts. This is not a maintenance role. This is a growth leadership opportunity.

The Role

The Tennis Director is responsible for building a complete, high-energy racquets business operating seven days a week. This includes:

• Developing and executing innovative programming for juniors, adults, and high-performance players
• Driving lesson volume, leagues, events, and court utilization
• Hiring, training, and leading a team of 10+ professionals
• Managing financial performance, payroll, and profitability
• Leading marketing and promotional efforts
• Creating a strong culture for members and staff

This role requires early mornings, evenings, and weekends, with a focus on consistent, structured programming and full court usage.
