Volunteer Pharmacy is a Knoxville-based independent pharmacy serving the community since 2011. As a Pharmacist, you will dispense medications, counsel patients on proper use, and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize outcomes in a welcoming, patient-centered environment.

This part-time, on-site role focuses on accuracy, compliance with regulations, and ongoing professional development while building strong relationships with patients and the local healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee pharmacist license.
• Knowledge of pharmacology and medication management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide medication counseling and education to patients and caregivers.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient medication therapies for effectiveness and safety.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
